In the heart of Touwsrivier, a remarkable success story is unfolding.
MoreThanMeerAs, in partnership with BVAPD and DGMT, has been empowering individuals to restore hope and contribute meaningfully to community resurgence. The 15-month programme, which began with 34 participants in September 2021, has blossomed into a thriving community initiative.
Monthly evaluation meetings and follow-up groups have fostered a sense of belonging and encouraged participation, with a remarkable 64 individuals now engaged. The crowning achievement, however, was the BREAKTHROUGH event on September 20, 2024, where the Deurbraak Group showcased their transformational journey.
With confidence and poise, the Deurbraak Team shared their powerful stories of growth, demonstrating the programme’s impact. We couldn’t be prouder of their breakthroughs in various areas of their lives. As we look to the future, we’re excited to see what’s next for this inspiring community.
